Sociability: Not sociable. They're fast and very nervous
Toxicity of venom: stage 4/4 (very dangerous).
Gestation: Of 10 tp 11 months.
Conditions of maintenance
Temperature: Of 77°F to 95°F (to make sure of a fall of approximately 50°F the night). The winter a fall is advised of 41°F with 10°C compared to the maximum ones.
Hygrometry: Of 30% to 40%.
Terrestrial terraium: to 35x20x25 is enough to raise a specimen. Substrate of approximately 5 cm with stones punts. If you wish to raise 2 specimens together a terrarium should be envisaged larger that will avoid the rather widespread cannibalism
For water a pulverization per month is enough, the remainder of contribution this will find in these preys.

PS: It is possible to find Buthus occitanus in Spain, Portugal and France under a less toxicity of venom (3/4) but not to neglect.
