Metasoma

It's composed of the telson, the anus and the segments.

The telson called vesicle with venom and finished by a aculeus.

The anus is between the 5éme segment and the telson (see seen profile).

The segments are 5, the last is very often longer than the others. It all are decorated of carinae. These same carinae play a part into systematic (classification of the family and species).

It's quite obvious that the metasoma can diverge according to the family, the kind and the species to see even the sex (color, form…)
